APPEALING FOR YOUR HELP.
My name is Janet, and have recently returned from a visit to Jamaica where I heard the story of Davion Gutherie.
Davion is a 14 year old boy who has suffered tremendously recently as a result of him being involved in a traffic accident which resulted in the amputation of his right leg.
I have seen this boy and I have seen first hand the brave heart he has and, at the same time I have seen the sadness in his eyes coming to terms with the loss of his independence.
This is a young boy who used to love going to school and playing football and running around like any normal 14 year old.
Davion needs your help.
However their is no free medical treatment, (NHS), in Jamaica like we enjoy in England and Davion's family consist only of his mother (Racquel Greaves) who is forced to work part time in order to look after her son.
Regrettably Davion's family is not in a position to be able to afford the treatment necessary for Davion to gain his independence that is the purchase a prostates leg as well as the costs associated with his rehabilitation.
This is where we NEED your help
What we are trying to do, with your help is to raise the money to buy Davion's prostates leg, which alone will cost $154,000 Jamaican dollars the equivalent of £1540 plus the additional costs associated with counselling and physiotherapy.
